Storm is the 2012 Alberta High School Rodeo Association pole bending champion. Stands 14.1hh. Storm runs consistent 1D barrel times and consistent 21 second pole bending times. She has traveled to Rock Springs, WY for the NHSRA nationals and Nevada for the SSIR. Also, she is very competitive in goat tying and all the gymkhana events. She hauls, bathes, and stands well for the farrier. Storm has a very good mind and is easy to work with. NO vices, easy to catch, no weaving, no cribbing, no gate issues. 100 percent safe for competitive youth riders. Accustomed to quads, dogs, cats, heavy machinery, cattle, goats, pigs, buffalo, etc. Been there done that. Mid sized mare, but she can turn and burn. She is automatic in all gymkhana events; barrels, poles, goat-tying, flags, keyhole and stakes. She was the 2016 Thorsby Gymkhana Winter Series Club Youth Champion. She also has won many small rodeos. She has won many buckles, blankets, bridles and prizes. Storm has been to the mountains, crossed rivers, and been on cattle roundups - nothing under the sun phases her. She has also been to penning and sorting practices., This mare is guaranteed 100% safe, sound and sane. 4 good feet and good bone. No maintenance. Can't say enough good things about this mare. She wouldn't be for sale but my daughter stopped riding in timed events and we are building a house and the bills keep coming. Climb on and win today. Breed her and raise champions when you are done competing on her. You can drive all over Alberta looking but you won’t find another safe, sane, sound competitive youth barrel / pole horse like her. She is a lot of fun and is the perfect mare for someone in high school rodeo or wants a trustworthy competitive horse. She has been standing in the pasture for several years now and is too good for that.
