What’s Happening This Weekend?

With rodeo season in full swing, the weekends are becoming busier and busier in arenas all over the country.  This weekend (June 3-5, 2011) has lots of action taking place.  CCA (Canadian Cowboys Association) and CRA (Chinook Rodeo Association) cardholders will be making their way to rodeos in Kindersley and Unity, SK.  The Wildrose and Foothills Associations have rodeos going on in Stoney Plain and Water Valley, AB.

The CPRA rodeos that are happening this weekend are in Wildwood and Hand Hills, AB.  The Wildwood event is a Saddle Bronc only event.

There are high school rodeos taking place this weekend in Neepawa, MB and Martensiville, SK (it’s their provincial finals this weekend).  Manitoba, Alberta and BC provincial finals will be taking place next weekend (June 10-12).

There are also numerous barrel racing jackpots and team roping jackpots going on this weekend.  One of the bigger jackpots taking place is the Barrel Bash & Poker Roping that is in Olds, AB.
