22 year old Syndi Blanchard won the barrel racing at the Stampede on Tuesday. It was the first round of Pool B where she marked a time of 17.59 (the quickest of all runs so far). Syndi’s horse Shotgun handled the ground well. Although Jody Sheffield’s horse made a good run, he fell at the end of her run. We understand Jody has a sprained ankle but will be competing today.
