We just had the chance to talk to Lynette Brodoway who won the barrel racing at the 2011 Brooks, AB CPRA Rodeo. Lynette, who is from Brooks, ran a time of 16.64 seconds to win the rodeo. Brodoway also placed fifth at the Rocky Mountain House CPRA Rodeo. Here’s what Lynette shared with us:
-What is the name of your horse? Pepinics Shawne aka Shawne
-How old is she? She is 10 years old
-What is it you like best about this horse? Shawne is consistent and has lots of heart.
-What kind of bit do you use in her? I use 2 different bits, one is a Charmayne James and the other is a Sherri Cervi.
-What kind of pad do you use? I use a Professional Choice Air Ride pad.
-Is there any special shoes you use? What kind? She is shod with rims all around.
-What type of feed do you feed her? I feed her Safe Choice supplemented with OxyMax.
