Ponoka Alberta’s Jake Vold is the only bareback rider to have placed in every round thus far at the NFR. In round 4 he split 6th place with a 81.5 point ride. He splits 3rd in the average with Winn Ratliff.
Dustin Flundra didn’t receive a score as the judges felt he missed the horse out. Curtis Cassidy’s steer fell the wrong way and ended up with a long time of 17.7.
Fallon Taylor not only made waves by winning her second round, in round 4 but by also wearing a helmet again. At an autograph signing a little girl asked Fallon if she would where a helmet again that night. She did and also brought little Ava Grace on stage with her at the gold buckle ceremony.
